It is a small, informal organization of +/- 25 people with the strong ambition to grow. And most importantly, everyone goes to work with great passion and ambition every day.
We are currently looking for a data engineer to join and strengthen our data science team. We are looking for driven, multidisciplinary and bright people. People like you who get a kick out of technical challenges!
Who we are:
Brainbay is a young and innovative company that provides the real estate market with the best data and information products. As AWS Data Engineer you are responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines from numerous relevant data sources to our AWS platform and across different services on AWS. One of the challenges will be to bring new data streams and ones that are currently imported into other environments to the AWS platform. You are familiar with (at least) the most common products offered by AWS (such as API Gateway, S3, EC2, ECS, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Batch, Step, VPC, RDS, Redshift, Athena, Glue, Auto Scaling, etc.) and you can design and create appropriate architectures with them. As the products offered within the AWS ecosystem are expanding rapidly, you learn and adapt to these quickly. Together with the rest of the team you work in sprint cycles in order to deliver the desired tools and bring prototypes made by our data scientist to production on our AWS platform.
- At least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
- Fluency in Python, SQL and desirably also in other relevant programming languages (C#)
